National Contact Points (NCP)

National Contact Points (NCPs) are nominated by CONICYT to provide information and advice to the local scientific community regarding participation in the EU’s research and innovation programme Horizon 2020 (H2020).

NCPs have a wide range of responsibilities including: raising awareness about funding opportunities in H2020; provide assistance in the search for potential partners, researchers, and contacts in Chile and Europe; collaborate with CONICYT in the dissemination of calls and other funding opportunities; and participate in international NCPs networks.

In order to fulfil their responsibilities, NCPs receive the support of the European Commission, CONICYT and the NCPs networks.
